March/Spring Break

Jillian has been enjoying the warm weather and playing outside with all of her new stuff. She likes riding her bike "Flintstones Style"

And playing with her chalk and bubbles!
She is also super into Sesame Street these days and any cartoon really. She loves "Melmo" though. Every day she says, "I wanna watch Street!"

She also has enjoyed a picnic in the park with Mommy and Daddy even though it was really cold...
she still had fun playing at the park

During Spring Break we took her to rodeo. I was so excited to take her b/c I just knew that she was going to love it. Well she didn't love it as much as I expected. I guess animals are only cool in books and not when they are up close and personal.
She didn't really care for the animals and clung very close to Daddy
She warmed up just enough to stand on her own but still wasn't getting too close
She finally rode the pony with Daddy right next to her and we got a little smile but most of the time she was hanging half on and half off of the pony so good thing Daddy was right by her

We decided to let her ride 1 ride as we were leaving and this she actually enjoyed b/c when it was time to get off, all she kept saying was, "More!" Unfortunately mom and dad didn't like the idea of spending $6 per ride. Hopefully she can ride more next year and she will be tall enough to get a wrist band for unlimited rides.

During Spring Break some of my friends also made a trip to Hallettsville with me. I'm trying to break them into the idea of us eventually moving because they are not fond of the idea. Mom was able to take off work and give us a lesson in kolache making and they sure were good!
We also went out to Lander's place to see all of the animals
Hannah was excited to feed all of the animals

Jillian again was not too thrilled with the animals but she got a little closer this time - of course she didn't really have a choice b/c Grandpa was putting the goat right next to her

We have been having a great time outdoors and look forward to move warm weather and outdoor fun!
